On the 23rd of February, we hosted our first Pamper and Feel Good Family Day in partnership with CC Events, Seniors in Touch, Now’s the Time, and Charlton Football Club.
During the event we had a number of activities for the community to engage in, including a Zumba demonstration, blood pressure checks, manicures, facials, threading, energy healing and therapy tasters provided by myself, Paula, Yukari and Helen.
We had a variety of wellbeing-themed stalls to browse and purchase from, a Kid’s Zone, a pop-up cafe, and a raffle with the main prize donated by the local Morrisons.
I was on ‘meet and greet’ alongside Gillian and Teddi, and our guest of honour was Chris May, the Mayor of Greenwich.
One of the attendees felt rejuvenated after a taster treatment and requested future treatments, “I had a massage from a lovely lady and I have to say: I was astonished by the quality of it. I have regular massages and this one was superb”.
Additional, feedback was so good for the Feel Good Cooperative:
What a great thing to do, more please!
The therapist was very friendly and gave a good treatment – thank you.
When is the next one?
How can I book a one hour treatment?
As result, we are planning another ‘PAMPER & FEEL GOOD DAY’ coming to Thamesmead very soon.
Overall, a great day was had by all, the stalls looked great, the massages, reflexology, facials, manicures, threading and Energy Healing was really busy!
The weather was glorious and everybody had a great time. A big thank you to Peabody for making Lakeview Court available.
