We first met Linda through our association with Trust Thamesmead.
She has provided unwavering support and advice since we started in 2005.
We are delighted that she has joined the committee as Community Development Manager. So far, her knowledge and expertise is proving to be invaluable in helping us to reach our full potential.
How long have you known the Feel Good Co-operative?
I worked with Sandy and the Feel Good Coop many years ago in my previous role as a community Development Officer in Thamesmead. With the Feel Good Cooperative, it supports local people have to access to a range of holistic therapies that they may be unaware of, or unaware of the benefits of or simply not be able to afford.
As we are always looking for new volunteers what advice would you give to an up and coming therapists, looking to donate their services to Feel Good Co-operative?
Volunteering with such genuine and professional people is a pleasure and the volunteers always go above and beyond. The therapists have a real commitment to support their clients to optimise the benefits of their chosen therapy and also give ideas or instructions for activities to do at home to enhance their wellbeing.
What have been your highlights volunteering with Feel Good Co-operative?
I have been made to feel welcome and valued from day one. I hope that the FGC continues to develop and grow, and I am able to help them to support the good health and wellbeing of local residents.
